While we are champions of the Best of British, we are also lovers of the food (and drink) culture of the spectacular and ethereal Emerald Isle.

And with lockdown and restrictions on restaurants and bars set to continue well into April and May, we thought we would embrace this opportunity to celebrate.

Our St Patrick’s Day sharing box uses fresh local ingredients to create a celebration of Irish food.

We source the very best ingredients, prepare them to our discerning standards and send them to you with instructions so you can have your restaurant quality meal for two ready in just minutes.

Start with wonderfully moreish smoked mackerel pate with homemade pickles, a hearty spiced mutton Irish stew and an indulgent sticky Guinness pud...

Our St Patrick's day box contains an entire homemade Oated Irish Soda Bread boule to be served warm with your starter and main courses.

Wild North Atlantic Smoked Mackerel Pate with Bread & Butter Pickles. 

The water between Ireland and mainland UK is abundant in wild mackerel. Our mackerel is smoked with whisky barrel chippings to develop a subtly sweet and silky smoked flavour. The mackerel is mixed with fresh shallots, herbs and British cream cheese. It is served beneath pink pepper infused butter. 

You'll also get a pot of our homemade bread & butter pickles with cucumber and shallots, pickled with yellow mustard seeds.

Serve with the warm soda bread.

Irish Lamb Stew with spiced red cabbage.

Lamb will be coming into season beautifully just in time for St Patrick's Day. Lamb shoulder is slow cooked with fresh Cheshire Maris Piper potatoes, sweet carrots and green cabbage. 

Served with homemade pickled red cabbage and a hunk of your warm soda bread for dunking.

Warming, hearty and classic.

Steamed Guinness, Treacle and Ginger Pudding with clotted cream and custard.

Possibly Ireland's most famous consumable, Guinness brings this pudding a subtle chocolatey hint and a wonderfully adult bitter note. Treacle is added for extra stickiness and ginger warms the cockles beautifully.

The perfect accompaniment to a glass of Irish whiskey.
