Top notch producer, creating as far as we are aware, the world’s first sparkling Albarino. George and Nick (our sommeliers) are huge fans of this Spanish varietal from the N.W Atlantic coast of Spain, known as Galicia and the Rias Biaxas. The Atlantic Ocean plays a big part in the production of Albarino which is known for its delicious and refreshing orchard fruit flavours AND it’s signature open-water salinity. Incredible with seafood and fish, which is handy seeing as this corner of Spain fishes some of Europe’s finest creatures. Similar to the Cremant, only the first 40% of juice is used from the press to create this wine. Keep an eye out for the Thermosensitive label (a boat will appear when at optimal drinking temperature) – how fancy is that?
Complex and expressive. White orchard fruits like peach and apricot. Toasty. Eucalyptus.
All of the above and then there’s that saltiness: its calling card. Super fine mousse. Super long and refreshing finish.
