One of the world’s most noble varieties and capable of producing wine ranging from super sweet and unctuous to the driest of the dry. The Columbia Valley (same latitude as Bordeaux) is really well suited to cooler climate varieties such as Riesling – more so than regions such as Napa and Sonoma, and that goes to show with this wine. Delicious.
Very aromatic. Sweet citrus, sour lime, and pear, peach, apple. Hint of tropical richness. Jasmine, straw and a hint of honey.
All of the above. Tart and dry. Fabulous acidity and really refreshing. Minerality. Elegant. Brilliant with some oysters, crab and scallops and definitely Asian cuisine.
