Ahhhh Amarone, how we love you so. This is one of Italy’s absolute classic wines. 80% Corvina and 20% Rondinella which are then dried out in sheds for about 4-6 months (appassimento) and then vinified to create a rich and more concentrated wine, which with it brings a bit more alcohol. This is the archetypal “winter warmer” and one for fans of the more full-bodied end of the scale. Gold Medal Decanter Wine Awards 2019 


Black and sour cherries. Berries. Spices. Prunes and dates.  


Creamy soft tannins. Lovely sweet oak. A lighter and younger version of Bertani’s icon Amarone Classico.  

Incredible with rich duck dishes and of course, Amarone risotto.
