This is the perfect example of being scared of something because we can’t pronounce it. But that initial fear should subside once you start drinking it. This winery is nestled on the Bay Of Biscay / Basque coastline In the small town of Getaria. Adur are one of the finest producers of Txakoli, made from the Hondarribi Zuri grape. Known for searing acidity, incredible freshness and being THE perfect grilled sardine wine, it isn’t for the faint hearted but if you like your wines dry I am certain you will love this. Also, for the theatre, this wine should be poured from a height (takes some practise) but when the juice hits the side of the glass it should spritz up and have a zesty sparkle to it. Honestly, trust us…Nick will attempt it on the call for you.
